Dairy... uh, Ice... Queen

All the same... this was a painting I started last year and never finished.

The other day I was bit by the inspiration teeth and decided to work on it some more.

So below is the very beginnings of breathing life back into this unfinished piece.

I brought it into Photoshop and worked on redrawing the original sketch focusing on adding more movement and flavor to the line work.

So my goal is to take you through a magical "work in progress" journey.

One that will hopefully end in delicious turkish delight of one form or another.

I'm currently taking a printmaking class. Oooooooo, yes, back to the old school ways of things.
It has been a great experience so far and I'm less than half way through the class.

The above image is a sketch for my next print. It will be an 18'' x 24'' print carved out of linoleum.

Yes, my darker, macabre side pokes it's head up everywhere.
