Bigfoot, a Unicorn, a Gnome... and Music. Indie Mommies!

Well, here it is. This is a banner I did for the Indie Mommies Facebook page.

3 friends (Walter, Wayne, and Ryan) and I have started a side band project. Basically, we send music files around by email and each add to them until some sort of song is born from it.

So, go check out the tunes... more will be coming!

I pictured Bigfoot being a little Emo... nobody understands him. I had so much fun doing the gnome in the tentacle piece I couldn't resist drawing another one. And the unicorn? Well, it's mythical....... or is it?

Yeah, needless to say, I love illustrating perilous situations. So, if anybody wants me to draw a gerbil facing down a pit-bull, just let me know. I'm game.

Oroku Saki a.k.a. Shredder! - My Childhood Villains

I bring you the latest in my Childhood Villains series. And one more from the Ninja Turtles line up.

Behold! Shredder in all his shredding glory. A little redesigned. Less Samurai... more ninja.

I always thought it looked like Shredder was wearing Pajamas in practically every rendition of him. I kinda kept that spirit alive I think.

Here's an interesting little tidbit for the fact geeks out there. The cartoon Shredder was voiced by the dad from the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air. What!!!??? fantastic.

... oh and Panthro was voiced by the grandpa from the Cosby Show. Delicious.

OH... and on a happy note! The blog was a little quieter than usual. But why?

On the 30th of March my wife and I welcomed our 3rd boy and 4th child into the world! He is adorable... absolutely adorable... a real lovely. A real gift from God.
